As we are only one short week from officially launching our San Francisco Shooting Brake competition-you'd think I should blog about San Francisco. But in truth I find myself agog this morning as I review the outstanding quality of work featured in the Local Motors Community.
You may know that daily (or near daily) we choose one remarkable car design as our "Featured Design" which is displayed both on the homepage and studio home. This morning I can not make a choice! Well, it is likely that by the time you read this, I will have chosen-but trust, it wasn't easy.
So now, instead of using this space to talk about the "City by the Bay", I will use this space to celebrate our community in general. If I have not featured your work or the work you love best, you should make it a point to go to the site and click the "Nominate to Design Wall" link (found next to portfolio images) for your personal favorites. This is how we celebrate exciting work on a daily basis.

If this is the quality of ingenuity and expertise we see in the San Francisco competition, you'd all better bring your 'A' game. I know you will. Good lord, I can just imagine my struggle with distraction next week as the Shooting Brake designs come in...
