River Simple - New Open Source Hydrogen Vehicle

Last week a new opensource car company made headlines when they introduced their very first vehicle. Riversimple, which is an evolution of OScar and fueled by the opensource wiki 40fires.com







I think the project is outstanding and applaud the effort. The design of the first vehicle (as seen in the video) is not thrilling, but then design was not the priority.

This is a quote from the video: "What people really want is mobility, not another depreciating asset" .

Clearly Riversimple is not accommodating car lovers. It is a big enough charge to try and change the way people think of mobility so dealing with specific groups of car lovers would be too much for this company.
